Frequently asked questions
Do the lines really transfer to skin?
Yes. The stencil is solid black linework on pure white, with no greys that would confuse the thermal printer, and every export includes a transparent-background version. The master is 3072 px at 300 dpi — up to 26 cm on the long side, at real size.
What photos can I upload?
Phone photos work fine. The honest limit: a very dark or very blurry photo gives a worse stencil, because there is less detail to trace. Below about 768 px on the short side, the app warns you before you spend a credit.
Does the stencil really look like the photo?
Yes. Pose, proportions and framing stay exactly those of your photo — the system traces the subject, it doesn't reinvent it. What changes is the rendering: clean lines instead of pixels.
Can I use stencils on paying clients?
Yes. A commercial license is included on every plan, and no export carries a watermark. What you print is yours to work with.
What happens if I don't like a result?
A generation costs 1 credit (2 for the more detailed styles). If a generation fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically — you never pay for a failed render.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from the billing panel, in a couple of clicks. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your saved projects remain.
